But even the cows think I am weird.
So President Espinosa is filled with the spirit and has received the revelation that this will be our new missionary attire. I approve!
Update on the floods is that they have not stopped, but I got boots.

Week 68

Another Great week filled with adventures

Our Investigator Maximo invited us to an FHE which was weird and we didn't know why he wanted us to come so badly that Monday.
He was excited because he made us this food which is called Ulo ng Manok which means.....Head of a Chicken(can you see it below). They chop of only the beak and everything else is still there.
It would be rude not to eat it so....yup. It was not bad at all
Next day we got fed this from one of our other Investigators. It's called ararawan which basically is farm crickets.
and of course I ate it. 10/10 would definetely eat again. Soooo good
This is us eating lugaw a nice hot soup because it has been cold this week. It started raining last Tuesday and has not stopped since. This is a pic of Elder Yo Rico and I after walking outside for only 10 seconds.
Houses are flooded BUT the work will never slow down!!!
Also Lastly we were blessed to have mga BINYAG this week for the Cansino Family.
Order left to right(Bishop Talusig, Pogi, Nanay Marlita, Leamore, Tristan, and Pogi 2)

Great great week super masaya

Week 67

I love you all family and friends and this week was another awesome time filled with many great experiences such as...

Having FHE (family home evening) with our Investigators(The Cansino Family) to show them what's up. We role played as Investigators and they taught US the lessons. We also ate worms and stuff.
binyag (baptism) records boooiiiii for dayzzz
Richard Chua was binyaged (baptized) who has literally been going to church waiting to be baptized for 6 months, but didn't have approval from his parents so we got permission from the area presidency instead. BLESSINGS.
I drive a car now with Elder Stevy

Week 66

Hey JOES

So if you actually read my emails and not just at the pics you'll know that I am opening an area again here in the city, but I think I'm gettin the hang of it because even though it's difficult at the start I think God was like.... let's cut this guy some slack. So I really I have seen the hand and the Lord guiding us exactly to where we need to go and what needs to be taught and everything else just kind of falls into place.

Nayny Conching, Tristan 19, and Bianca 9
We had a CSP last Monday and we just chopped stuff down and got fed to do it. I like service.
Our District leader Elder Estrada really likes service...look at it
We ripped out a banana tree because there's too many here, and the bananas are too small in the Philippines.
This is where we eat when we're mahirap
He was my ZL and now I am his ZL. bow down Elder Roberto
secreto ng mga gwapo

Good week

Week 65

Hello Friends and fam. We had another fantastic week here in the Urdaneta Zone, with, guess what, a NEW PRESIDENT.

I am sad that President and Sister Deyro left this last Saturday, but I am also excited for the new changes coming to the mission from President and Sister Espinosa. I had an interview with him just earlier and was asking for some advice for improving and changing up district meetings and from what I heard from other missionaries he has a lot of other ideas, but for now nothing is official so I shall update you on future emails.

But this whole week was full of adventures

This is Karl the Kid
This is Peggy the piglet
I hope you are now motivated
There was a murder in our area last Thursday. If you see this man in purple in your area please contact 911 asap
Our house flooded on Friday and our Area book (which is a compilation of all the records of Investigators and Recent Converts) was on the floor.....so now before we go to bed we lay out the papers to dry. I am half way done now 😫

That is all for this week.

LOVE, ELDER TERRY
