Week 36

Way blessed this week with huge huge success with our investigators.

So many of you may not know, but for missionaries back in the day their bigger focus was on teaching men and baptizing families, but recently that has changed completely because is was not as successful as some others ideas. The idea came from Elder Dallin H. Oaks to focus on YOUTH and YOUNG ADULTS. These Millennials are in a crucial time of their life because they are now independent, self reliant, and are searching for answers for their upcoming difficult journey. This group of people are way willing to change and work hard.

So that has been exactly our focus. After the youth activity we had in our area are investigators moved from non progressing families to youth who have been prepared and have the strongest desire to have the truth and happiness in their lives. Their names are Josephine, Melanie, Cherry May, Veronica, TJ, Mark Joseph, Ganarose, Daichan, Shela, Jennyrose, and 3 other sisters and they are all youth and have all gone to church and all want to be baptized. Alot of them are classmates so they just fellowship each other, go to classes together, read the BOM together and come closer to Christ together.

I can't stress enough how all of this has come from the will of God and his desire for us to receive these blessings and the chance for us to help guide them into this happy lifestyle is by far the greatest thing I have even witnessed or have had the opportunity to be apart of. I am way happy here and I am hyped for the next 16 months.

Our community service project this week was just going around random people's houses and cleaning them. #lighttheworld
